Hepatitis B Virus Update

This webinar is intended for both clinical and non-clinical service providers who work with individuals with or at-risk for acquiring the hepatitis B virus (HBV). HBV can present either as an acute, or short-term, illness; but for others it can become a long-term, chronic infection. Chronic hepatitis B can lead to serious health issues, like cirrhosis or liver cancer.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Rachel Flumo

During this session, we will delve into the neurobiology of addiction and examine its impact on the brain. Our discussion will encompass an exploration of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and the different types of medications that are used to treat opioid use disorder. Additionally, we will focus on gaining a deeper understanding of the essential terminology utilized in addiction care and emphasize the use of person-first language.


This event presents a valuable opportunity for partners and ambassadors to meet with the NJHHC Team and gain insights into recent developments.
